How to Play
The Daily Unch is a daily word-guessing game
for crossword enthusiasts. "Unch" is crossword speak for a square with only
one word crossing it. A word is selected
each day from a
corpus of
millions of real crossword clues and
answers.

You'll start with a blank grid and a
published clue that was used for that
word. For each subsequent guess, an
additional clue will be revealed from
the corpus.

If you get any letters right, they'll be
locked in.

If you don't get any new letters from a
guess, one letter will be revealed to
you (unless Hard Mode is enabled).

You get five guesses total. Play each
day and share with your friends!
For a tougher challenge, try enabling
Hard Mode to turn off letter reveals!
